The 93rd Annual Championship of Ireland Band Contests
(including World Championship for Flute Bands) will be held
on Saturday 16th October (Brass and Concert sections)
and Saturday 23rd October (Accordion, Flute and Schools sections)
2010 in the Market Place Theatre, Armagh.
All member bands of the Irish Association of Brass and Concert Bands
are invited to enter this contest.

IABCB 45th National Championships

The Irish Association of Brass and Concert Bands,45th National Band Championships of Ireland took place in University Concert Hall Limerick on the 17th &18th of April last.
Congratulations to all of the Section Winners
It was an exciting and enjoyable weekend of music-making by all the participants.
But the Nationals weekend is much more about performing in a world class venue
of the higest possible standard,that is the University Concert Hall Limerick and also to further develope the IABCB National Band Championships of Ireland
to encourage as many bands as possible to take part each year.
The IABCB Executive Council would like to thank all the competing bands
for a great weekend of competition in both the Concert & Brass Sections.
The IABCB Executive Council would like to thank all the staff of UCH Limerick,
Patrick Punches Hotel,all our Sponsors
and the members of the Boherbuoy Band for all the hard work over the weekend.
